Antibes Yacht Show 2011

From April 7th to 10th, Port Vauban in old Antibes becomes a floating Aladdin’s Cave. Small, medium and huge boats bob up and down in the water while tents set up on the quayside are full of the latest gadgets to smarten up your sailing life.

If you have any interest in boats, this is for you. And in the spirit of something for everyone, there’s a Crew Lounge that offers a range of activities which are for the crew or partners — flower arranging or wine tasting anyone?

The whole Yacht Show is great fun and extremely decorative and it’s a very welcome reminder that summer is just around the corner.

The show’s organisers are delighted with the response from the superyacht refit firms who are all eager to increase their international profile.

Another innovation at this year’s Antibes Yacht show which runs from April 7-10 at Port Vauban, France once again sponsored by the MYBA will be the Crew Lounge at Bastion St Jaume’ arches. Activities such as flower arrangement, CV writing, wine tasting, medical testing is planned in the lounge. Free drinks will be available all day long. The final schedule will be posted on AYS website a week prior to the show.

The Captain’s lounge is sponsored again by Porto Montenegro. Located on the terrace of the Bastion Saint Jaume, it will host captains in an area measuring approx. 100 m². The captain’s lounge offers and area to relax and receive free breakfast and lunch as well as drinks all day.
