Alfalfa sprouts Alfalfa sprouts

Alfalfa sprouts are high in energy and rich in vitamins B1, B2, E, K, D, and especially in vitamin A and minerals – phosphorus, calcium, magnesium and iron. They contain 35 percent protein and are used in prevention of and recovery from anemia and osteoporosis. Because of the delicate taste, alfalfa sprouts are eaten raw in salads and sandwiches. They are one of the most gentle flavouring sprouts.
